The Nutraceutical Alliance brings together expertise in evidence-based ingredient selection and product design, research designs for testing product safety and function in the target species, data analysis, communications to industry and the scientific communities, regulatory dossiers and notifications (FDA, Health Canada, EFSA) as well as methods development for nutraceutical supplements, pharmaceuticals and biomedical instrumentation.
The Nutraceutical Alliance was founded in 1999 by Wendy Pearson, presently professor in Equine Sciences at the University of Guelph. The Nutraceutical Alliance in its present form was formed in 2013 by an alliance between Dr. Wendy Pearson and the current President, Dr. Michael Lindinger, PhD.
Dr. Lindinger's background before joining the Nutraceutical Alliance is in the physiology of muscles, gastro-intestinal system, nutrition and nutraceuticals, joint disease, and exercise. His research has involved many species ranging from marine mussels to humans. He served as a professor at the University of Guelph for 25 years in the current department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences.
The Nutraceutical Alliance has helped many companies to successfully design nutraceutical supplements, design and complete studies that bring evidence based research to their products, and register / notify their ingredients and products with regulatory agencies. These products include nutraceutical ingredients, nutritional ingredients, nutraceutical supplements, pet food ingredients, as well as biomedical instruments. We are here to help you.
